What are some of the good Aikido schools in downtown Toronto?

Any style would be fine with me.. as long as it%26#039;s a recognized one like Aikikai, Yoshinkan etc.|||Kimeda Sensei is quite good. His is a Yoshinkai dojo on Yonge and the Web site is here:

If you prefer Aikikai, I%26#039;ve also seen Fran Turner Sensei in demonstrations and find her very good. Her dojo is on Broadview, and her Web site is here:

Originating as an ancient form of unarmed combat, aikido is a 900-year-old art characterized by wide-sweeping circular movements. The emphasis is on the mind-body connection, with a mantra to live “in harmony with ourselves and others.” There are more than 10 clubs in the Toronto area; the HQ is downtown, across from Rye High. Students begin with meditation and stretches before moving into vigorous rolls, then poses. More advanced scholars work with wooden swords, sticks and knives. Most are under the guidance of sensei Kimeda, an eighth-degree black belt who has taught for more than 40 years.
