What kinds of belts are there in combat style aikido?

i just wanna know... got nothing to do...|||It depends. There are many different styles of Aikido, each with their own ranking system. In Tomiki Aikido, which was heavily influenced by Judo, for example the belts are the same. White, Green, Brown, and Black - with stripe ranks in between.

From my experience, a lot of people get hung up on belts. Sure, it%26#039;s a physical symbol of the training you%26#039;ve put in and a gauge of your proficiency, but at the end of the day it%26#039;s still just a really good thing for someone to grab and manhandle you around with.

Some of the most unstoppable old 6th dan and above black belts I%26#039;ve had the privelege to work with have had one thing in common. They all still consider themselves %26quot;beginners.%26quot; Think about that...|||The wrap around kind...

When you get to black belt, you can wear a hakama.|||the same as any other martial art|||The kind you wear around your waist.
