Will Muay Thai fighter would walk all over an Aikido or Judo fighter?

If a really good MT fighter had a no rules fight against a fighter who only practiced judo or aikido of the same size and with the same training, would the MT fighter walk all over them? I know it would depend on the fighters but just in general what do you think?|||That would depend if you are able to stay outside their grappling range.

If you do you can bombard them with strikes, and they won%26#039;t be able to counter if they are not close.

If they close the gap and grab you, then you are in trouble, a muay thai fighter will likely not know what to do against an aikidoka%26#039;s locks and throws.

Against the judoka, the clinch might help a bit, but then again in muay thai there are no hip throws, which a judoka has usually mastered.

if you get on the floor, then you are screwed, specially with the judoka, you%26#039;d get submited in no time.|||it is incredibly easy to take down anyone without wrestling experience. if a grappler wants to take you down and you dont know any wrestling (which a mauy thai fighter wouldn%26#039;t) you ARE going down, not a good chance you will go down, you are definitely going down. one thing we have learned from mma is that it is impossible to stay out of grappling range if the other fighter wants to get in it.

so the muay thai fighter would get taken down and submitted, at least by the judoka. you should also consider that in a fight which has been pure grappler vs pure striker the grappler has won 99% of the time.|||I believe that a judo or aikido guy would throw or trip the Thai fighter of balance to the ground and make him submit or break his bones by a submission hold!|||It all depends on whether or not the judoka or Aikido fighter can take a strike or two. If they can get inside on the Muay Thai fighter, then the MT fighter is done. A good judoka will take down and submit the MT fighter before the MT fighter has the chance to say %26quot;What the ****?%26quot;|||Judo players are a tough bunch. Just punching, elbowing, kneeing and kicking them will not stop them from boring in on you, grabbing you and throwing you to the ground with tremendous force. Judo is all about absorbing punishment in the clench and using leverage, not weight, to your advantage in order to throw your opponent.

%26quot;No rules%26quot; actually favors the Judo player.

I doubt that Aikido could work as successfully against a Muay Thai fighter.|||I%26#039;m pretty sure if the MT fighter knew what he was doing.|||Maybe. If the Judoka can close the gap, the Muay Thai fighter is dead. But if the Judoka stays out at range and turn to attrition, the Muay Thai Boxer will win.
