What is needed to pass from 10th kyu to 9th kyu in aikido?

well actually im not sure with kyu i am right now, but i know that i am at the lowest, which is actually 10 th kyu or the 9th :S|||The lowest level in aikido is no kyu.

After your first testing, at the invitation of your sensei, you will raise to 5th kyu.

Eventually, if you practice with sincereity for many years (an average of at least five) you may attain to shodon level (the lowest rank of black belt).

Although the testing by each individual sensei can be and usually is slightly different, you might contact the United States Aikido Federation (142 West 18th Stree, New York, NY 10011; (212) 242-6246) for a list of the requirement for 5th kyu or the INternational Headquarters, 102 Wakamatsu-Cho Shijuku, Tokyo, Japan for information regarding the same.

Be well and continue on your journey in the art of peace.|||you might also go on line to the usak, i know they have a web site but i dont know the exact listing. Report Abuse
