The simplest form of Self Defense is Awareness. Know where you are and who is around you, know your terrain and setting. Awareness is the most efficient self defense in my opinion. Without it your apt to get pummeled, surprised.
Aikido is a good Art. All of them actually are good. There is no such thing as a bad Martial Art style their are only bad teachers and students. The art itself is beautiful as a painting is to a gallery.
So if you come across a mcdojo or a group of thugs Aikdo is very usefull if you have a good teacher and are a good student, just as any of the other arts would be,
Awareness is still the best for of defence, that way you can hopefully move away from any trouble before it breaks out.|||No... a slingshot is simpler to be made...!!not to mention cheaper and u dont need good legs.|||Aikido is good! You could fight against multiple attackers if you master Aikido! But it depends what you like to do. Do you like to grapple or Strike! Brazilian Jui-jitsu is great too! Wing chun is great too! Read About Bruce Lee then decide what you want to learn first!|||Running.|||Running as fast as you can.|||%26gt;What is the simplest and most efficient form for self defense?
.357 Magnum|||Simplest? Most likely boxing or kickboxing. Most efficient? That depends on you and your ability. I know many very efficient fighters from various backgrounds; you will determine the efficiency of the art that you train.|||Aikido is not very simple ,but can be very efficient. It depends on what kind of student you have been.It takes years to learn how to use aikido effectively. Take for example %26quot;Kokyu Nage
which means %26quot;twenty year throw/technique%26quot;.First think how much effort and time do I want to put into this. It sounds like you want self defense. If you decide you want to try aikido.
Find a Yoshinkan school if you can.Get ready for some bruises .
